Seven noted universities from across the nation were invited to help the students identify their vocational interests and align these with the choice of the courses offered by them.

Ludhiana, August 21, 2019 (Akash Sharma): ASISC Regional Level Debate Competition for Category I and II, Senior and Junior, respectively was conducted at Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana on 21st August, 2019. A total number of 12 schools participated in the competition. The jury to judge the competition included Dinesh Kapila, a National trainer from JCI India, and Varinder Datta, Faculty at Ludhiana Chapter of ICAI for Category I and Ms. Balwinder Kaur Brar, Asstt. Prof. in English Partap College of Education, Ludhiana and Ms. Baishakhi Banerjee, also an Asstt. Prof. in English Partap College of Education, Ludhiana for Category II.

Ludhiana, August 19, 2019 (Akash Sharma): The Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) conducted Regional Level Swimming Competition for the students of ICSE schools at Sat Paul Mittal School on 19th August, 2019. Gurpreet Kaur, Head, Senior School extended a warm welcome to the participants and the officials. 127 participants competed in different categories in various events in Senior, Junior and Sub- Junior (Boys and Girls) Categories, respectively. The participants showcased their swimming skills and techniques with immense enthusiasm. Sister Stella Maria, Principal of St. Mary Convent School, Jalandhar was the observer of the event. The Chief Guest of the day Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School was impressed by the agility, endurance and fervor displayed by the participants. She congratulated and applauded the winners along with the other participants for their sportive feats and suggested the children for more participation to ensure a complete growth of mind and body.

Competitions at an educational institution target to increase students’ efficiency. Such events are a part and parcel of schools for the holistic development of the students. BCM School, Chd. Road, is always ready to give such platform to the budding players, artists and learners to prove their potential on different platforms. In past two months BCMites proved themselves a step ahead than others by bagging various prizes in different LSSC Competitions and Inter School Competitions. Students participated in LSSC Swimming Championship (7 Gold and 2 Silver Medals), Tandrust Punjab District level Swimming (5 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze) and Badminton Tournament(3rd prize), LSSC Drawing Competition(Ist Prize), LSSC Quiz Contest(2nd prize), LSSC Poetry Recitation Competition(2nd prize) and LSSC Yoga Championship(Ist Prize). Apart from this, students also brought laurels to school by securing First Positions in five categories at Decorus Art Inter School Festival.

Fancy dress competition was held for LKG class. Students they dressed as Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose ,Mahatma Gandhi and Rani Lakshmi Bai.

Ludhiana, March 29, 2019 (News Team): It is a proud moment for Sat Paul Mittal School that Satyan Namya Joshi, a student of VI grade has won the first prize in UNESCO Clubs 2018-2019 Worldwide Youth Multimedia Competition for her outstanding commitment and exceptional efforts in Multimedia. She is the first finalist of her age group. UNESCO, the U.N. organization that has brought grass roots initiatives in Education, Science, and Culture, invited youth around the world to take part in the Multimedia Competition. The aim of the organization is to mobilize youth to purposefully use their talents to serve others, ensuring even greater impact on the future to come.

Ludhiana, March 18, 2019 (News Team): Sat Paul Mittal School organized the ‘Satyan Open House’- an event to celebrate the young kindergartners’ transition from a playway to the formal schooling on 18th March, 2019. The event helped to make the school an exciting and welcoming place for new students and their families. The teachers greeted the incoming kindergartners with cheers, high-fives and smiling faces along with live cartoon characters of Peppa Pig and Mickey Mouse. The best thing about memories is to create them; so, a photo booth for ‘First Day to School’ was created for little Satyans with their parents.

The parents were guided and were given latest tips to facilitate learning of their children. Parents were introduced to the motor skills and its relevance for the child’s learning. The easiest methods of recognition and learning of alphabets and numbers were taught to the parents.

Ludhiana, March 01, 2018 (Hardik Kumar): Holi was celebrated with organic colours and flowers at Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar in Ludhiana. Children came dressed up in traditional clothes. Students worked on the theme, “Celebrate Eco-friendly Holi with Organic Colours, Do not throw colours on plants and animals”. Teachers narrated the students the story of Holika and highlighted the significance of the festival. The students of Pre-primary participated in Card Making Activity.
