Dharamvir Singh Dhami, Project Security Officer (B.B.MB Nangal) was the Chief Guest of the day. DS Dhami is a renowned player of volleyball and winner of International Volleyball Tournament, Lahore (1983 and 1988). Gurcharan Singh Brar, Ex-Volleyball Coach, PAU and Harbhajan Singh Grewal a renowned athlete of the state were also present to encourage the young athletes.

Ludhiana, March 01, 2018 (Hardik Kumar): Holi was celebrated with organic colours and flowers at Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar in Ludhiana. Children came dressed up in traditional clothes. Students worked on the theme, “Celebrate Eco-friendly Holi with Organic Colours, Do not throw colours on plants and animals”. Teachers narrated the students the story of Holika and highlighted the significance of the festival. The students of Pre-primary participated in Card Making Activity.
