Dr. Manish Kumar Chatli, HoD of Livestock Products Technology informed that Directorate of Extension Education, GADVASU has sponsored this training programme under Rashtriya Krishi Vigyan Yojana (RKVY), Govt of India for the benefits of Schedule caste/Schedule Tribes. This course content of training programme included scientific slaughtering and dressing methods, “Do’s & Don’t” of meat handling, personal hygiene, disposal, utilization of byproducts and development of value added meat products.
