Ludhiana, December 24, 2019 (News Team): Sat Paul Mittal School’s Annual Parents Thanksgiving event was held on 21st December, 2019 at the Mittal Auditorium. The essence of this show is rooted in the parental participation in organising a special event to show their gratitude to the management, the teachers and the support staff.

Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Governing Council, Sat Paul Mittal School, graced the occasion with his magnanimous presence. With vibrantly dressed parents and teachers, striking ethnic decor, an exclusive food counter with the finger licking flavours of Gujarat, the theme of the event ‘Radiant Dandiya’ brought mini Gujarat to the school. The grand finale of the show was extravagant Dandiya Raas where the entire ground was open to the parents and teachers together for dance on the beats and tune of Dandiya.

The show commenced with a welcome speech by Bhumika Jain, Vice Chairperson, PSC followed by school’s annual report, presented by Nidhi Narang, Treasurer. Performances included varied dance forms like Classical, Fusion, Bollywood and a thought provoking musical on ‘Women Empowerment’. Melodious singing performances, an exquisitely written letter thanking the teachers of the school and active fathers’ participation were some remarkable aspects of the event.

Going a step further in the school’s continuing efforts to go green, a small green card was unveiled by Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Governing Council, Sat Paul Mittal School to rope in parental support for environment conservation by managing biodegradable waste effectively. The parents took a solemn pledge not only to follow the policy of responsible waste management themselves but also impact five other households, thus, strengthening the school’s resolve towards sustainability.

Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School, thanked the PSC (Parent School Committee) for the meticulous planning and perfect execution of this gala event. The show concluded with a vote of thanks by Samita Munjal, General Secretary. Throughout the event, the zeal and enthusiasm of the parents towards the school and its activities was apparent and left the teachers and staff spell bound.
