| Students celebrating Holi with flowers at Green Land Convent School |
Ludhiana, March 01, 2018 (Hardik Kumar): Holi was celebrated with organic colours and flowers at Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar in Ludhiana. Children came dressed up in traditional clothes. Students worked on the theme, “Celebrate Eco-friendly Holi with Organic Colours, Do not throw colours on plants and animals”. Teachers narrated the students the story of Holika and highlighted the significance of the festival. The students of Pre-primary participated in Card Making Activity.
Principal Jyoti Pujara greeted the students and explained the demerits of synthetic colours and encouraged them to play eco-friendly Holi. She said that these activities connect students with our rich culture and traditions. She also extended his good wishes for the exams.
