Ludhiana MC polls result 2018 declared: Congress wins with clear majority
Ludhiana, February 27, 2018 (Kanchan Sharma): Congress wins 62 wards in the Municipal Corporation Ludhiana election. SAD won in 11 wards, BJP won in 10 wards, LIP won in 7 wards, 4 wards won by independent candidates and AAP won in only 1 ward. After the voting on February 24, the fate of the 494 candidates was closed in the EVM. There was a tough fight between Congress and BJP-SAD alliance. Counting began today morning and by noon 95 out of 494 candidates were declared winner.
