Mumbai, August 05, 2019 (Akash Sharma): Sony Entertainment Television’s Vighnaharta Ganesh is close to completing its 2 years association with its viewers and the show has been amply loved by the viewers during this period. The show has been known for the interesting depiction of mythological stories. The upcoming saga would be of Bhandasur whom Ganesha creates from the ashes of Kamdev.

Young Bhandasur being played by Super Dancer Chapter 3’s Baby Birju Maharaj Dhairya Tandon garnered a lot of attention from the audiences and now when Bhandasur would be seen as the grown-up enemy of Gods, the character demands for a powerful and well-built physique. To adhere to audience’s expectations of the muscular look and an engaging actor Aman Dhaliwal has been roped in by the makers. Aman was previously seen in the show Porus essaying the role of Shiv Dutt and has been a prominent part of Punjabi movies like Saka – The Martyrs of Nankana Sahib, Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De, Leather Life, DSP Dev and many more but the character of Bhandasur in Vighnaharta Ganesh is his first stint in a mythological show.

Aman, who is elated to make his appearance on the show as Bhandasur said, “Audience would see me playing the character of Bhandasur in Vighnaharta Ganesh. It is my second stint with Sony entertainment Television, earlier with ‘Porus’ my character was way different from this one. When I got the offer for the role of Bhandasur, I was skeptical at first as this would be my first time on a mythological show. My entire family was excited about it. I look forward to working with actors like Malkhan Singh and Akanksha Puri who are popular faces on television and it gives me immense pleasure to be sharing screen with them. Being a Punjabi it was difficult for me to adapt the pure Sanskrit language that we are using in the show but like it is said Practice makes a man perfect and keeping that in mind I am looking forward to give some great on screen characterization for my role and do complete justice to it.”
